I wonder if anyone really cares with all of the many other problems today. The government is so worried about these things yet so many other things are much more important. I am looking forward to how this digital transition goes and if it will cause alot of problems.

the weather is raining and I have been working with stuff in the summer and taking care of my work and the animals when I am not busy. I also been playing online games when I am online and most of all been getting ready to burn up this summer.

it is interesting how life changes like it is and my sibling is headed to japan for a visit you never know what you gonna experience or go thru but you will live and learn

I take it day to day and try to not let life and current things happening to not get me down or depressed. I try to have hope when there is not alot hope.

I got written up at my job because a customer complained that I was rude. My motto is do what you can and if that is not enough oh well. Managers and supervisors can be so demanding and narrow minded and you are always wrong and customers are always right...

Teen queen Miley Cyrus has apologised for last week's raunchy photo scandal and admitted she is "embarrassed" by a series of controversial photos - one allegedly topless - taken for Vanity Fair magazine.

In a statement released to People.com, the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star said she regretted last week's photos - showing Cyrus pulling down her singlet to reveal a lacy green bra and cavorting with a young male - were released.

She thanked fans for supporting her and said she would learn from her mistakes.

"The pictures of me on the internet were silly, inappropriate shots," she said.

"I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.

"Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

Cyrus also said her latest nude photo scandal, surrounding alleged topless photos of the star taken for Vanity Fair magazine, has been blown out of proportion.

Controversy has erupted over one photo in which the actress reportedly appears topless.

"My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honoured and thrilled to work with Annie (Leibovitz).

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."

The Disney Channel also released a statement about the Vanity Fair controversy.

"Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."

A source told People.com that Cyrus was fully clothed during the shoot, but was shot draped in a sheet in a way which made her appear topless.

The source also said Cyrus' parents were on set for the shoot.

The story and photos will be published in the June edition of Vanity Fair.

Canadian metal band KITTIE has announced the departure of bassist Trish Doan.

Doan has been diagnosed with the eating disorder anorexia-athletica-nervosa, which she developed during the recording of KITTIE's "Funeral For Yesterday", Doan's first release with the group.

"It breaks my heart to say goodbye to this family that has given me the best two years of my life," Doan said. "I wish my time with KITTIE did not have to end, but this decision was made based on doctors' orders. Unfortunately, this is the only option that will allow for my full recovery."

Doan has been battling the disease for nearly two years.

"Trish is a part of our family and her talents and friendship will be missed by all of us," said Tara McLeod and sisters Mercedes and Morgan Lander. "We are continuing to be respectful and supportive of Trish's needs during her period of healing. We wish her the best on her road to recovery and will remain close to her throughout this difficult time."

The music business has seen sales drop for seven straight years. Next year will be worse. That's the growing consensus we hear from people in the industry, who are assuming that physical sales will plummet even faster in 2008 then they have to date.
